I can't complain about the toys I got as a child, and while there were a number of great stuff I wanted and never got, Manglor Mountain was the big unanswered toy wish that still sticks in my mind today. I was a huge fan of Swamp Thing comics and late night monster movies, so you can guess where the appeal for me was. I swear, my Manglord wish was like something out of Dickens: One kid across the road from me, an only child who's parents dedicated their last bedroom solely to his toys, he had Manglor Mountain. That one visit to his toy empire was the only moment I saw that toy in person. I still hunt for a complete one from time to time and hope to eventually have the thing.

A lot of people and collectors have bitched about this particular toy's flaws and it's lack of posing etc. As a toy enthusiast/collector myself, this certainly is one of the coolest if not unique toys from the 1980's. And i'm not ashamed at all to have it proudly displayed among my remco monsters and other plastic beings from the 80's.
