So if someone found one of these not in a box- in great working order- with battery cover still on it- What could they expect to get out of it if they chose to sell it. Or should they just hang on to it? Of course I am just curious you know.

OMG! I’m so happy I found this site. For the life of me I couldn’t remember from what series these toys came from. I tried to look it up online, but I kept spelling Narlie as if were spelled as “gnarl”.
But I’m glad to see now how it’s spelled and am able to look up info on these toys from my childhood.
Congrats on being able to buy a toy from your childhood in its original packaging.

Sorry, this is one of those things that I’ll never sell. There are only a handful of boxed examples known, let alone sealed. Loose examples already go for $200+ if they have the battery cover. I love Rock Lords too much to give it up!

I bought a Narliebaboon new in box back in the late 1980s when I lived in Germany just because I thought the name was so funny. I still have it, but the box is long gone. It still works & my kids didn’t get their hands on it to tear it up. It may well outlast me.
